Terry Bradshaw Plans 2025 Return Despite Health Challenges #36

Terry Bradshaw’s status for the 2025 NFL regular season appears to be up in the air.

Bradshaw, 76, is coming off another big year at FOX. The network aired the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles this year. Bradshaw, who won four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers, led the Lombardi Trophy presentation on the Caesars Superdome field on Sunday night, February 9.

It was an up-and-down season for Bradshaw, though. He took some heat on social media for his inconsistent performances, as others suggested that it was probably time for the NFL great to call it a career.

Bradshaw, meanwhile, has said that he plans on returning in 2025 – and in 2026 and 2027, too.

“I got two years left (on my contract) at FOX. I’m 76,” Bradshaw, who has been with FOX since 1994, said before Super Bowl 59.

“If I can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. I think that’s time.”

While Bradshaw has been on the air forever, he’s also dealt with some troubling health issues.

Bradshaw has admitted that due to some health issues, he can’t run or play with his grandkids like he used to be able to do. Bradshaw played in the NFL for 14 seasons, winning four Super Bowls and a league MVP.

“I can’t run. I can’t play with my grandkids the way I used to. And I don’t like that,” Bradshaw has said.

Bradshaw, who has twice faced cancer and other health obstacles, has made it a priority to visit his doctor.

“I’ve got grandkids, I don’t wanna have pneumococcal pneumonia knock me down,” Bradshaw admitted in 2018.

“I’ve got a bucket list I want to fill up, I got horses I want to raise.

“I got grandkids to play with, I got grandkids on the way.

“I’m not gonna be one of those men that doesn’t go see his doctor.”

Bradshaw has made it pretty clear that he wants to stay on the air for as long as possible, too.

“I told Fox: ‘If I could just die on the show, think about the ratings, right?,” he said amid the retirement talk.

“Are we not about ratings? That’d be huge. Not only that, there would be a huge carryover.”

It sounds like Bradshaw will be back in 2025, but hopefully he’ll be at 100 percent health while returning to the broadcast.
